FASHION AND BEAUTY WORKSHOPS IN LONDON October 27-28, 2012
WORKSHOP
BEAUTY
In this workshop, Oleg Tityaev will demonstrate through example how to shoot photographs in the genre of beauty.

In the first example Oleg will explain how to position light to highlight features that bring attention to your photographs.

For the second image you will learn how to use multiple light sources to create images in high-key. Here it is important to see and understand how harsh light sources used in the correct orientation relative to each other can create vivid images.

In the third example you will learn how to use soft light sources to create beautiful and rich scenes. Through this example you will learn how to properly position and manipulate each light source to achieve the correct light exposure from each.

For the fourth lesson you will explore the usage of complex lighting schemes and colour filters to produce creative images. As a rule, every photographer strives to create striking and unusual works to adorn their portfolio. The resulting image from this lesson will be a prime example of such work.
FASHION

The first lesson will demonstrate the use of soft light, which is normally used for commercial photography. Often, a simple but beautiful light is exactly what you need when shooting for a catalogue.

In the second session you will learn how to use three-dimensional and beautiful lighting to create images suitable for journals/magazines. The primary aim here is to show not just clothing, but to create a three-dimensional and interesting lighting solution that stresses the idea you are trying to convey.

The third simulating sunlight. Often photographers are faced with the challenge of simulating natural lighting conditions. The simulation of solar, hard, bright and warm light is a challenge which Oleg will realize in a concise image.

In the fourth lesson you will discover how to use mixed light sources in creative ways through the simultaneous use of pulsed and continuous light. The resulting image will be a little blurred. Motion by the camera creates a small blur to the frame, while the pulsed light, also present in the frame, will provide the necessary clarity to key areas of the resulting photograph.
Both workshops will feature two models, with whom you will create two photographs each. The total production time for each image will be approximately 2 hours, with each photographer getting 10 minutes hands-on experience per photo session.
At the end of the workshop you will have produced four photographs with a total shooting time of about 40-45 minutes. No time will be wasted. Every photographer will be able to communicate with colleagues and ask Oleg questions to discover how to create professional images.
Fee: 200 GBP for 1 day workshop or 350 GBP for 2 day workshop.
Number of places: 10 people.
